Leslie Pair
Leslie Pair is the Campus Experience/Connections Director at Midway Church. Along with serving the church for 15 years, Leslie actively speaks to various women’s organizations and small groups on a variety of topics. Leslie was married for 28 years to her high school sweetheart Rex Pair, who also served as Midway Church’s Executive Pastor for 12 years. Rex passed away in 2016 from a three-year battle with lung cancer. Leslie is mother to two grown daughters, Katie, and Makenzee, and she is Granny to Reya. Leslie has a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and is currently pursuing a Master of Arts in Pastoral Counseling. Her hobbies include teaching group fitness for 30+ years, being outdoors (in rain, cold or sunshine) and playing with her two pups, Phoenix and Charlie.

Above all these achievements and experiences, the most significant and enduring growth journey remains the one I walk daily with Jesus. I am from Lynchburg, VA and moved to Carrollton, GA in 2022. I work in health and fitness and have a passion for people. I graduated from Liberty University with my Bachelor’s of Science in Exercise Science. I have served in the RRBC Sports Ministry and look forward to how the Lord will continue to use me. I am thankful for the opportunity to pour into other women at this year’s Renew Event.

I was born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, grew up in the church and received Christ as my Lord and Saviour at age 12. I met the love of my life at 18, am the mother of 2 boys and grandmother of 2. My spiritual gifts are teaching and encouragement. I have taught kids of all ages, led Women’s Bible Studies and spoken at retreats, served as Christian Education Coordinator and helped plant 2 new churches in the Northeast Ohio area. I love Jesus dearly, love God’s wonderful Word and am so glad to spend my life on eternal things. It still amazes me that He could use me. I am so looking forward to seeing his beautiful face in glory!

I am a retired high school educator and coach with more than 35 years experience. I have served in various church ministries through the years and currently lead the Rooted women’s discipleship class on Thursday mornings at Roopville Road. I also volunteer as a patient advocate at the local pregnancy resource center. My husband, Monty, and I have been married for 49 years and are blessed with two sons, two daughters-in-love and four awesome grandchildren.

I worked as an occupational therapist for 40 years and have always been involved in church- serving in missions, women's ministry, choir, and teaching Sunday School.
