My name is LeighAnn Carter. My husband Kyle and I have been married for over 12 years and we are parents to two wild and beautiful babies, Jake and Eva. Jake is the cause for the majority of our gray hair and Eva "the Diva" keeps us laughing with her antics daily. I have been a nurse at Tanner Medical Center in Carrollton for 15 years and even after being married to Kyle for as long as I have, I am unsure what exactly he does. He just refers to himself as a "computer nerd." One thing to know about me is that I LOVE women's ministry. Women are such a cornerstone of the home and the church- my hope and prayer for Worthy Women's Ministry is that it would be a place for women to find Christ-filled fellowship and encouragement. A place for women to be encouraged, refreshed, and renewed in their walk with Christ.

encouragement

May this be a place to come to be encouraged by other women in your walk with Christ.

growth

Aiding women in their study of scripture, so that the knowledge of our faith grows and strengthens.
"I will meditate on your precepts and fix my eyes on your ways. I will delight in your statutes and I will not forget your word." Psalm 119:15-16

prayer

Praying for one another. Our desire is that every woman knows that someone is interceding on her behalf.
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Galatians 6:2

worship

In all that we do as a ministry, may our Savior be worshiped and adored.
"Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord!"
Psalm 150:6

outreach

Meeting the physical or spiritual needs of others, sharing the love of Christ in word and deed.
"Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation."
Mark 16:15
