A PLACE FOR HOPE

CANCER MINISTRY

In the middle of uncertainty, there is still hope

A Place for Hope is a Christ-centered cancer care ministry at Roopville Road Baptist Church for cancer patients, survivors, caregivers, and families who have lost a loved one to cancer. This ministry exists to walk alongside those impacted by cancer with prayer, encouragement, community, and the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Through monthly gatherings, weekly encouragement, prayer partners, testimonies, and meaningful support, A Place for Hope offers a place to be seen, heard, prayed for, and reminded that you do not have to walk this journey alone. The ministry is designed to provide spiritual and emotional encouragement while pointing each person to the comfort, strength, and rest found in Christ.

A Place for Hope is for...

Cancer Patients

Cancer Survivors

Cancer Caregivers

Family Members of Those Facing Cancer

Those Grieving a Loss to Cancer

You Are Welcome Here!

A Place for Hope meets on the 2nd Wednesday of each month from 6:00–7:30 PM in Building C-101

Each gathering includes encouragement from Scripture, prayer, testimony, and meaningful connection with others who understand the journey cancer can bring. Whether you come to listen, share, or simply be encouraged, you are welcome here.

If you would like to learn more, request prayer, connect with someone from our team, or let us know about someone who may need encouragement, fill out the form below. We would be honored to walk alongside you.
