Followers of Christ have an ultimate responsibility as disciples to grow spiritually, make disciples of new Christians, and become more like Jesus each and every day of their life. To that end, it is vital that each follower of Christ transforms his or her way of thinking and understanding to become more closely aligned with Jesus. To accomplish this, one must spend time in person and close fellowship with Christ through prayer and the reading and studying of His Word. Not to be overlooked; however, are the benefits of corporate discipleship, study, and training achieved through Sunday School. In this setting, close relationships with other Christian disciples are forged and ultimately result in the formation of a close-knit Christian family and support group
